ATP 250 Events In February Tennis Champions

Cordoba Open

Let's Start at The Cordoba Open where #1 Seed Diego Schwartzman local country man, needed 3 sets to take down Cristian Garin of Chile. Although the first two sets were competitive 2-6, 6-4, Diego's endurance proved to be an asset once again he took the third set 6-0.
With a singles ranking of 93, Andrej Martin made a sweet run to the quarters before losing to Garin.

Tata Open Maharashtra

These type of tournaments are great for first timers like Egor Gerasimov to get an ATP Title. While draw might not have been as competitive (or as many notable names) as some of the other 250's going on, it is the same prize money and ATP points. Again we had another 3 setter where Gerasimov took down Jiri Vesely 76(2) 57 63 to take home his first ATP title. Congratulations to the 71st ranked player and expect him to keep climbing the rankings!

Open Sud de France

While Vasek Pospisil has been battling injuries for the last year his ranking has dropped just outside the top 100 at 104. But that didn't stop him from making the finals in France. He took on French Native and Two Time Champion Gael Monfils. After an impressive 3 set win over David Goffin, Vasek got broken late in the first set to drop it 5-7 and couldn't recover from there losing the second set 6-3. World #9 won his 9th ATP Title in his home country. Gael is perrinial top 10 player, but yet to win a Grand Slam. Or make a Grand Slam Finals
